YSD Events transformed the legendary Waldorf Astoria New York into the setting for an extraordinary wedding celebration for Alina Habba and Turhan Mildon, CEO of Miller Holding.
Recently featured by the New York Post, the highly anticipated celebration unfolded inside the Waldorf Astoria’s fourth-floor ballroom, where an estimated 900,000 fresh flowers sourced from around the world created a spectacular, immersive environment.
True to YSD Events’ philosophy, the evening was conceived as far more than a beautiful wedding. Every element was thoughtfully layered to create an experience that unfolded throughout the night—combining exceptional design, elevated food and beverage, live music, entertainment and unexpected moments.
A Celebration Designed to Be Experienced
Guests entered a ballroom transformed through an extraordinary abundance of fresh florals, establishing a sense of scale and drama from the moment they arrived.
The experience continued through a series of highly considered details. A 30-piece band brought the room to life, while a singer traveled from France specifically to perform the couple’s first-dance song. Dinner began with individual tins of caviar presented to guests, setting the tone for an evening defined by detail, generosity and a sense of occasion.
The celebration later transitioned into an afterparty featuring a live performance by three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Nelly.
Among the notable guests reported in attendance were heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson and other prominent figures from business, government and public life.
